The story

Elf O'Clock is made by Alex, a dad in Stoke-on-Trent, who does the Christmas elf tradition at home and knows exactly how it feels at 10 pm on a December night when the elf is still sitting where it was yesterday.

It's a Christmas elf app in two halves. For grown-ups, it plans the month with five-minute setups rated for effort, so tonight's idea is one card away. For kids, there is a date-locked door every morning with a joke, a game or some mischief behind it. It works with any elf a family already owns, or with none at all.

It was built for knackered parents, and it keeps one promise: nothing leaves the phone. No ads, no accounts, no tracking. Anything a family makes only goes anywhere when they choose to share it.
