Elf idea: Baking day
The elf has set out bowl, spoon and flour with a note that today is biscuit baking day. It takes about 10 minutes and a little effort; you need plain flour, icing sugar, oats or rice, mugs, cups, bowls, a baking tray, wooden spoon and straws, cake sprinkles or hundreds and thousands, paper, card and envelopes, felt tips, crayons and a marker pen.

- Plain flour, icing sugar, oats or rice (anything that scatters like snow)
- Mugs, cups, bowls, a baking tray, wooden spoon and straws
- Cake sprinkles or hundreds and thousands
- Paper, card and envelopes
- Felt tips, crayons and a marker pen
How to do it
- Lay out a bowl, spoon, flour and sprinkles.
- Sit the elf in the bowl with flour on its head.
- Note: 'Biscuit day. Grab a grown-up.'
