Elf idea: Pancake chef
The elf is wearing a paper chef's hat next to a bowl, a spoon and a note promising pancakes. It takes about 10 minutes and a little effort; you need mugs, cups, bowls, a baking tray, wooden spoon and straws, plain flour, icing sugar, oats or rice, eggs in their box, paper, card and envelopes, felt tips, crayons and a marker pen.

- Mugs, cups, bowls, a baking tray, wooden spoon and straws
- Plain flour, icing sugar, oats or rice (anything that scatters like snow)
- Eggs in their box
- Paper, card and envelopes
- Felt tips, crayons and a marker pen
How to do it
- Put a bowl, a wooden spoon, flour and eggs on the worktop.
- Fold a paper chef's hat for the elf.
- Dust a little flour on the elf's face.
- Note: 'Pancakes this morning? I've started.'
