The elf is sitting in a mug with marshmallows and a note inviting everyone to hot chocolate tonight. It takes about 3 minutes and hardly any effort; you need mugs, cups, bowls, a baking tray, wooden spoon and straws, marshmallows, ketchup, chocolate spread, peanut butter, syrup or hot chocolate powder, paper, card and envelopes, felt tips, crayons and a marker pen.

How to do it
- Put the elf in a mug with a few marshmallows round it.
- Line up a mug for each person.
- Write 'Hot chocolate tonight. All of us.' on a note.
